THE SACRIFICIAL SYSTEM HAS ENDED — BUT THE COMMANDMENTS OF YAHUAH STAND FOREVER

Understanding the Covenant, the Priesthood, and the Eternal Culture of the Kingdom

INTRODUCTION: A CRISIS OF UNDERSTANDING IN CHRISTIANITY

The modern Christian world suffers from a very crucial foundational error:

It confuses the Law of YAHUAH with the Sacrificial System.

Because of this confusion, many have been taught:

  • "We are no longer under the Law."
  • "The commandments were abolished at the cross."
  • "The Law was for the Jews only."
  • "Christ fulfilled the Law so we don't need to keep it."

This is deception.

What Yeshua Messiah fulfilled was the sacrificial and priestly system, not the eternal commandments of YAHUAH.

Scripture does not teach the end of obedience.

Scripture teaches the end of animal sacrifice.

Scripture teaches the end of temple rituals.

Scripture teaches the end of Levitical mediation.

But Scripture never teaches the end of the Commandments.

"The conclusion of the whole matter is this:

Fear YAHUAH and keep His commandments,

for this is what it means to be human."

— Ecclesiastes 12:13

Obedience is not bondage.

Obedience is identity.

Obedience is love.

Obedience is the PROOF of Election.

This article will show — with Scripture — why the Commandments remain eternal, why the sacrificial system ended, and why the Elect of Yeshua Messiah walk in the Law of YAHUAH joyfully, faithfully, and Fearfully.

1. THE LAW OF YAHUAH VS. THE SACRIFICIAL SYSTEM

Most Christians treat the Law as one giant category.

Scripture does not.

Scripture divides the covenant into distinct components:

A. Moral Law

(Ethics, righteousness, holiness — the character of YAHUAH)

B. Cultural & Civil Law

(Dietary laws, appointed times, Kingdom identity, justice codes)

C. Sacrificial & Priesthood Law

(Temple, blood rituals, mediation, offerings)

The first two categories are eternal and reveal the nature and culture of the Kingdom of YAHUAH.

The third category — the sacrificial system — was temporary and ended with Yeshua's death.

Christians confuse C with A & B.

This article destroys that confusion.

2. WHY SACRIFICES EXISTED: BLOOD WAS REQUIRED FOR COVENANT ACCESS

YAHUAH is infinitely holy.

Israel and all humanity for that matter is not.

The sacrificial system was not part of the eternal Law of YAHUAH —

it was part of the covenant maintenance, allowing sinful Israel to:

  • remain in a Marriage relationship with YAHUAH (Jeremiah 3:14, Isaiah 54:5)
  • avoid the Wrath & Judgment of YAHUAH
  • approach YAHUAH through intermediaries

"Without the shedding of blood,

there is no forgiveness."

— Hebrews 9:22

This was not about commandments.

This was about access.

The blood did not replace the Law.

The blood allowed Israel to live long enough to KEEP the Law.

3. SACRIFICES WERE DAILY — EVEN WHEN NO SIN WAS COMMITTED

This is proof positive that sacrifices ≠ the Law.

"Every day, continuously,

you are to offer two lambs."

— Exodus 29:38

Daily.

Morning and evening.

Regardless of sin.

This shows:

  • Sacrifices were not just for forgiveness.
  • Their purpose was to preserve and maintain Israel's covenant relationship with YAHUAH.
  • They preserved Israel's access to YAHUAH's holy presence.

This system was NECESSARY until the arrival of the TRUE High Priest.

4. THE SACRIFICIAL SYSTEM WAS ALWAYS MEANT TO END

Scripture calls the sacrifices:

  • shadows (Hebrews 10:1)
  • copies (Hebrews 8:5)
  • temporary (Hebrews 9:9–10)
  • not perfect (Hebrews 10:4)

Their entire purpose was to point toward Yeshua Messiah, the final Lamb.

Once the true sacrifice appeared, shadows disappeared.

But the commandments —

the Law revealing the nature of YAHUAH and kingdom culture—

did NOT disappear.

5. THE WORK OF YESHUA MESSIAH — THE FINAL HIGH PRIEST & FINAL SACRIFICE

Yeshua did not end obedience to the Law of YAHUAH.

He ended the need for animal blood.

"He did this once for all when He sacrificed Himself."

— Hebrews 7:27

"By His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place

once for all time

and secured our eternal redemption."

— Hebrews 9:12

"Now where there is forgiveness of these sins,

there is no longer any offering for sin."

— Hebrews 10:18

The blood of bulls allowed Israel to live apart from YAHUAH's wrath — but only temporarily.

The blood of Yeshua allows His Elect to LIVE FOREVER.

His blood is:

  • eternal
  • divine
  • incorruptible
  • perfect
  • heavenly

Therefore:

  • ✔ Sacrifices ended
  • ✔ Priestly duties ended
  • ✔ Temple rituals ended

But:

  • ✖ The Commandments did NOT end
  • ✖ The Sabbath did NOT end
  • ✖ The Dietary Laws did NOT end
  • ✖ The Appointed Times did NOT end
  • ✖ The civil laws did NOT end
  • ✖ The culture of YAHUAH did NOT end

6. WHAT DID NOT END: DIETARY LAWS, APPOINTED TIMES, CIVIL LAWS, AND THE CULTURE OF THE KINGDOM

Christians mistakenly believe that obeying these things:

  • makes you "Jewish"
  • puts you "under the Law"
  • denies "grace"

This is WRONG.

These instructions:

  • teach holiness
  • teach Kingdom identity
  • teach purity
  • teach obedience
  • teach justice
  • teach reverence
  • teach separation from the world

These are the culture of YAHUAH —

the culture ALL HUMANS must adopt to enter His Kingdom.

These are not "Jewish" laws.

These are YAHUAH's laws.

Passover is "YAHUAH's Passover" (Exodus 12:11).

Sabbath is "YAHUAH's Sabbath" (Exodus 20:10).

The Feasts are "YAHUAH's appointed times" (Leviticus 23:2).

YAHUAH NEVER calls them "Jewish feasts."

The Elect observe them because they belong to YAHUAH.

7. THE WITNESS OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT

Inside the Ark were three items, and all three reveal Yeshua Messiah.

The Ark was carried everywhere because it was a prophetic shadow of the Messiah Himself.

7A. YESHUA MESSIAH — THE TRUE TABERNACLE

"A minister in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by YAHUAH and not by any human."

— Hebrews 8:2

Yeshua is the TRUE PLACE WHERE YAHUAH DWELLS.

The earthly tabernacle:

  • — copy
  • — shadow
  • — temporary

The body of Yeshua:

  • — reality
  • — eternal
  • — perfect

The veil tore because the earthly tabernacle was replaced by the TRUE TABERNACLE — Messiah Himself.

7B. YESHUA MESSIAH — THE FULFILLMENT OF THE TESTIMONY

Inside the Ark were:

✔ The Tablets of the Law

→ Yeshua is the Word made flesh (John 1:14)

✔ Aaron's Rod that Budded

→ Yeshua is the eternal High Priest (Hebrews 7:24)

✔ The Jar of Manna

→ Yeshua is the Bread of Life (John 6:51)

The Ark housed shadows.

Yeshua fulfills the reality.

He is the complete Testimony, living and eternal.

7C. YESHUA MESSIAH — THE LIVING ARK OF THE COVENANT

Why did the priest sprinkle blood on the Ark?

Because it represented the presence of YAHUAH.

Now Yeshua has entered heaven with His own divine blood.

He does not represent the presence —

He IS the presence.

The Ark was:

  • carried everywhere
  • the place where YAHUAH spoke
  • the throne of mercy
  • the center of worship
  • the sign of covenant

Now Yeshua is:

  • carried by the Elect in their hearts
  • the Word of YAHUAH
  • the throne of grace
  • the center of worship
  • the Mediator of the New Covenant

The Ark was never a relic —

it was a prophetic shadow of the Messiah.

Yeshua Messiah is the Living Ark of the Covenant.

8. THE BOOK OF THE LAW WAS NOT PUT INSIDE THE ARK — WHY THIS MATTERS

"Take this Book of the Law and set it beside the Ark of the Covenant of YAHUAH. Let it remain there as a witness against you."

— Deuteronomy 31:26

Inside the Ark were memorials.

The Book of the Law was a witness.

This proves:

  • The Law is not part of the sacrificial system.
  • The Law stands separate and eternal.
  • The Commandments are YAHUAH's instructions for the Elect.
  • The Book of the Law testifies against rebellion.

The Tablets were placed inside the Ark as a memorial of the day YAHUAH Himself spoke to the entire assembly of Israel with His own voice.

9. THE COMMANDMENTS REMAIN — BECAUSE THE NATURE OF YAHUAH REMAINS

The Law reveals YAHUAH's character:

  • perfect
  • just
  • holy
  • merciful
  • wise
  • righteous

YAHUAH does not change.

"I, YAHUAH, do not change."

— Malachi 3:6

Therefore:

His Law does not change.

His culture does not change.

His commandments do not change.

10. YESHUA MESSIAH'S OWN WORDS ON COMMANDMENT-KEEPING

Yeshua commands obedience:

"If you love Me, keep My commandments."

— John 14:15

"The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me."

— John 14:21

"If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love,

just as I have kept My Father's commandments."

— John 15:10

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the Kingdom,

but the one who does the will of My Father."

— Matthew 7:21

Yeshua does not give new commandments —

He gives the SAME commandments He spoke on Sinai.

YESHUA MESSIAH is YAHUAH.

11. PAUL, JAMES, JOHN, AND REVELATION CONFIRM THE SAME TRUTH

Paul:

"Do we then abolish the Law through this faith?

Absolutely not — we uphold the Law."

— Romans 3:31

James:

"Be doers of the Word, not merely hearers."

— James 1:22

John:

"This is how we can be sure that we have come to know him: if we continually Keep His Commandments."

— 1 John 2:3

Revelation:

"Here is the endurance of the saints,

who Keep the Commandments of YAHUAH

and hold fast to the faith of YESHUA."

— Revelation 14:12

12. THE ELECT ARE BORN AGAIN TO OBEY

The Elect do not obey by flesh.

They obey by the power of the Set-Apart Spirit of YAHUAH.

YAHUAH promised:

"I will put My Law within them

and write it on their hearts."

— Jeremiah 31:33

"I will place my Spirit within you, empowering you to live according to my regulations and to keep my Laws."

— Ezekiel 36:27

James explains:

"In accordance with His will,

He gave birth to us by the Word of Truth."

— James 1:18
Bishop's Insight

Bishop's Insight:

The new birth is not emotional — it is transformational.

To be born again is to receive a new nature, one that loves the commandments and hates lawlessness.

Obedience is not optional.

It is the EVIDENCE of regeneration.

13. THE FINAL WARNING

Lawlessness is the mark of rejection.

Yeshua says:

"I never knew you —

depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness."

— Matthew 7:23

Holiness is required:

"Without holiness, no one will see the YAHUAH."

— Hebrews 12:14

The Elect walk as Yeshua walked:

"The one who says that he abides in him must live the same way he himself lived."

— 1 John 2:6
